| "Zuid-West
Afrika" or "South West Africa"
alternating on the sheet. |
| Later
issues had the overprint changed to "Zuidwest"
as one word. |
| In
1927 the Dutch "Zuidwest" was changed to "Suidwes"
(Afrikaans). |
| Finally,
in 1928, only the abbreviation "S.W.A."
was used. |
